Is this police harassment? I am glad the judge and aclu could see through the bogus charges.

Are there any legal repercussions that the DA and warranty issuing parties could face for this? The judgment seems to have been dismissed with some prejudice.

“Clearly, Richard Gardner was arrested several weeks ago because of his past crimes — not because he put his old address on his marriage certificate,” says the ACLU in this article.

And so are the rest of us… 900k plus.

“Police confirmed they will resume monitoring Gardner’s home. Providence City Councilman Luis A. Aponte said it will not be a 24-hour detail.”

Why would he even say that? In hopes the citizens take over? Does he not know the law and the constitution? Why do the pigs even monitor him from an offense 30 years ago? (ya ya, I know).

Let’s not overlook this:

Or this:

“Richard Gardner was arrested yesterday not because of what he did last month in the Cranston city clerk’s office, but for the crimes that led him to serve thirty years in prison before being lawfully released. That was made perfectly clear by Cranston police chief Michael Winquist when he acknowledged at his news conference that ‘whether he’s jaywalking, filing a false document, it doesn’t matter to us. I read both to mean the unfettered harassment against Gardner will continue.
